Timo knew well the different means of transport. 5h trip with Skybus which costs 5.60 €(23 birrs is 1 euro) also included a juice, water and a cake. This time no one asked money for the luggage. My trip seemed like going to Tartu in summer, even though the music on the bus was too loud and there was a lot of laughter. On the TV there was a comedy which everybody were watching. I was looking out of the window and observing the green landscape of Africa. Could this laughter be the result of the sun? In the north you never see people who’d laugh so much. This laughter was contagious!
When I got to Awassa I stayed in the usual hotel, close to the bus station so I could take the first bus in the morning to go to Soddo.
